Setup costs
Our standard setup charge is £1499.00.
This is for a full website with you own unique design. This is probably the cheapest
professionally designed website you will find anywhere. Sure, uncle Fred might do
you a site for less, but if you ask anyone else to develop you a website with the
looks and features of LunchQ from scratch it WILL cost you thousands.
Running costs
We charge £1.00 a day, for the hosting and upkeep of your website and online ordering
system; this is charged monthly in advance, by standing order or by a repeat card
transaction.
Per order costs
We charge for the online ordering service on a credit basis. One credit is charged
for each online order (which is faxed through to you). Credits need to be purchased
in advance from either your administration console or over the phone from our helpdesk.

Extra design time
Our standard sites are pretty good looking and will suit most people's needs, but
if you're looking for something really special, perhaps some animation (Macromedia
Flash) on your web site, then you can buy some extra design time from one of our
graphic artists. We charge sensible and competitive rates for such work... please
call our helpdesk to discuss your requirements and we can provide you with a written
quote. Our current rate for this work is £40.00 per hour.
Website administration costs
Once your website is up & running, you can (if you like) administer many parts of
it using your online administration console. If you'd rather we made changes for
you, then we may charge for this work. We will make infrequent minor changes free
of charge, but we will charge for administration tasks that will take us longer
than five or ten minutes. Our current rate for this work is £40.00 per hour.
A note on credit card transactions
Your site can take payment from your customers via debit and credit cards when they
place their orders. This service is optional and you pay no additional charges for
it should you choose to use it. The services uses our NatWest Streamline merchant
accounts, and the customers funds initially go into those accounts when the food
is paid for. We will settle our account with you on the first day of each month
via a cheque or bank transfer. More frequent payments can be arranged for an additional
small administration charge.
There are obviously costs involved in handling each card transaction, and these
costs are passed onto the customer when they pay for their meal using a card. The
customer is given a choice when they checkout between paying when they collect their
meal from you, or by paying online. They are clearly told at this point that they
will be paying a small additional charge to cover the online credit card payment
should they choose it. This charge is currently £0.40 per order, but we hope to lower this in the near future.
If you don't offer credit card facilities on your premises (and few places do where
the average transaction charge is less that £10.00) then this facility can often
be a handy feature for a customer who might otherwise have to find a cash machine
at lunch time.
We can also integrate with your own merchant account if you wish, but setup and
running costs can almost double. Please contact the helpdesk if you wish to discuss
